In a previous article covering .overlay files, we provided a tutorial for adding Streamlabs-Certified premade packages from Visuals By Impulse. You can find this article here.
This article will explain how to use the One-Click Setup for alerts from these packages.
We'll be using the Pilot Stream Package, which is aStreamlabs-Certified package design.
After you've purchased the package, saved the files to your PC, and have installed SLOBS, you're ready to roll.
In the Folder you saved your design files in, check the ALERT folder for a "Streamlabs One Click Setup" link. Double click this to open an internet browser-
You'll be redirected to the Streamlabs log-in page.
Log into your Streamlabs account. You'll now have the option to create a new Widget Theme. Create one, and name it appropriately. For this article, I created the Pilot widget theme.
After creating the Widget Theme, you'll need to select which theme you want. Please note- if you have never created a widget theme, there will be default themes. Make sure you select the new theme you created for this package.
You'll be brought to the Streamlabs Alert Box, where your new files will be automatically set up. Check your alert settings, and adjust the font as needed. We recommend testing your alerts in the StreamlabsOBS Editor before adjusting font settings.
We also recommend selecting an Alert Animation for both FADE IN and FADE OUT, otherwise, your animation may loop repeatedly.
MAKE SURE YOU SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN AND CLICK "SAVE" OR YOUR WIDGET THEME WILL NOT WORK.
Once your settings are adjusted. Copy the URL found at the top of the Alert Box page.
Copy this link (it works for ALL alerts) and import it into SLOBS as a Browser Source, then you're ready to rock and roll.
